Vinal exterior primer is an acrylic co-polymer based superior primer to be used on cementitious as well as on wooden surfaces. vinal exterior with high grip & bonding capacity is a perfect primer to form a tougher yet flexible film, which adheres wonderfully to the surface applied. It is highly recommended for all kinds of emulsion paints.
Ensure the surface is structurally sound and free from dust, loose & poorly bonded materials. Any fault or damage in the structure which may cause moisture / dampness / water penetration should be repaired. In case of any organic / fungus growth, common domestic bleaching powder (Calcium Hypochlorite 35% Chlorine) can be used effectively for anti-fungal treatment. Add 2kgs. of bleaching powder to 50 ltrs. of clean water and mix well. Clean the surface intended for allocation. Brush the bleaching powder Mixture onto the cleaned surface and leave for 24 hours. After leaving it for a day, wash the surface well with clean water.
The Surface should be made free of grease/oil or stains. Rub the wooden surface with a fine emery paper to make it smooth. Wipe off the saw dust.
